Kinder Photography - Child Safety Policy

1. Commitment to Child Safety

At Adele Elisabeth Photography, the safety, comfort and respect of every child comes first. We value the trust placed in us by families, educators and centres.
We are committed to ensuring every photography session is delivered in a safe, supportive and inclusive way.

2. Consent and Participation

• Written parental or guardian consent is required before any child is photographed.

• Children whose parents do not give consent will not be photographed.

• Staff will maintain an up-to-date list of non-consenting children and ensure compliance.

3. Supervision and Conduct

• A member of Kinder staff must be present at all times during photography sessions.

• The photographer must:

• Hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent clearance

• Follow all directions from Kinder staff

• Use professional, appropriate language and behavior at all times

4. Image Management and Privacy

• All images remain the property of the parents.

• Digital files must be:

• Stored securely on protected systems

• Deleted or securely destroyed after 6 months

• Photos may not be used for marketing or any other purpose without explicit, separate written consent.

• No images will be shared via social media or public websites unless permission is obtained.

5. Distribution of Photos

• Photo distribution must occur through secure channels (e.g., sealed envelopes, protected galleries).

• Only parents or legal guardians may order or receive photos.

• The photographer and Kinder share responsibility for ensuring confidentiality.

6. Reporting Concerns

• If you have any concerns, please report to the Kindergarten Director or email us at adeleelisabethphotography@gmail.com

7. Review and Training

• This policy will be reviewed annually.

• Photographers and staff will receive periodic briefing/training on this policy and child safety requirements.
